I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Management Information Systems from Penn State Erie, but my love for computers started long before that.

My first computer was a Commodore 64, which I got my paws on as a toddler in the early-1980s. I launched my first website, all about my hobbies and interests, as a teenager in 1996. Shortly after that, I started an "online diary" that I manually dated and archived. (Blogging the hard way!) Ultimately, it was only natural that I'd end up in the IT field.

Since graduating in '04, I've worked professionally doing primarily web development using ASP.NET with C# or Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft SQL Server.

For personal and freelance projects, I love to use WordPress. I specialize in developing custom themes and plugins that use WordPress as a simple content management system for small businesses, organizations, and bloggers. Learn more about my freelance services.

In my spare time, I love to read and knit. I have a collection of yarn that you wouldn't believe!
